Cane rocking chair

This old and much loved chair was showing the signs of a hard life! Beneath the worn upholstery, it was clear the chair had previously had a cane seat as well as a cane back panel.
The upholstery was carefully removed and the holes from the tacks and staples filled. The chair had the old polishwork removed and was French Polished before finally being caned.
